The convention starts in just one week! Eep! Opening Ceremonies kick off at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, and programming runs through about 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, followed by dinner and the traditional Dead Dog and clearing of the ConSuite.

But wait, you say, that’s eight days away? That’s because our Thursday Specials start the convention before the convention! On June 4 at noon, it’s the return of the 2-Page Read & React; bring the first two pages of your manuscript for live (anonymous) reading and reactions in real time. Then stay for the Comrades In Writing Speed-Meet at 3:30 pm, and, after a break for dinner, the Thursday night party kicks off at 7:00 pm!

The Good Book Exchange will be available all weekend in the ConSuite. Donate that beloved book that you want other people to love too. And go home with your next great read!

Our ConSuite Volunteers were so awesome last year, we’re doing it again! Sign up for a time-slot in person at the con, and help keep the ConSuite clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Each successfully-completed ConSuite shift earns an entry in a drawing for a free 2027 membership!

Food options within walking distance of the hotel are limited, so be sure to check out the meal carpooling sign-up on the whiteboard in the panel room. Drivers, let folks know where you’re going to eat and how many riders you can take; riders, see who’s going somewhere cool and write yourselves in. (I’m looking forward to the India Palace buffet, myself.) Get to know nifty new people while sharing tasty food!

And of course, if you don’t yet have your membership, you can still fix that. Memberships are $75 now and at the door, which is still a pretty good deal for this much learning, sharing, and fun!
